Doing Life...Together

Balwyn AnglicanComment

Friends,

Discipleship – helping people to grow in their knowledge and love of God and His Son Jesus - is a key responsibility of any Church. This is so for all age groups but particularly important for our children and youth. Life Groups play a key role in this discipling as people build close, trusting relationships, meeting together to learn, pray and support one another. If you are not currently in a life group can I encourage you to think about joining one of the groups already meeting or talk to me about the possibility of forming a new group or means of meeting together regularly, taking account of your own particular needs and circumstances.

For our young people we currently have a Sunday morning Children’s program for school aged children up to the age of year 7/8. We are also introducing a Sunday morning program for our youth, year 9 and older to be held on the 3rd Sunday of the month, with our young people also being included on roster for our 10.30am service on other Sundays.

Meeting with other brothers and sisters in these ways are, I believe, the life blood of any church. If you do not currently participate in any group can I ask you to consider prayerfully how you might become involved.
