Friends,

Good Morning!  Today almost feels special – we aren’t celebrating a special day!  We certainly will be next week – St Barnabas Day – but today is just, as our prayer book calls it, an “ordinary Sunday.”    Or is it?

In truth, the Bible says that, “this is the day that the Lord has made.”  And any or every day that the Lord makes has got to be, by definition, more than ordinary – because He made it.  The Bible goes on to say that since “this is the day that the Lord has made” – we should, “rejoice and be glad in it.”

So, as we gather this morning, let’s do just that: “rejoice” in God’s presence with us, through His Spirit, and “be glad” for all that God has done for us in Christ and continues to do in our lives day by day.

If you’re visiting us this morning, welcome.  We trust you enjoy your time with us today and that your life is blessed through it.  Please remember that if you would like prayer for any need in your life that a ministry/prayer team is waiting for you in the Sanctuary (behind the altar).

God bless you, richly, in the days ahead.

Richard
