Bill Hybels wrote a book a few years ago – Too Busy Not To Pray. It speaks about the importance of prayer in the rhythm of our lives.
I believe that in a similar way involvement in a life group (small group) is critically important to our lives and discipleship. These groups provide the opportunity for fellowship, learning, prayer, mutual encouragement and support that is not possible in any other way in our life together as God’s people.
In my experience and the experience of others who have spoken with me, the consistent feedback has been that the trust relationships which grow and develop in these groups have brought great blessing and given rise to many prayers of thanks and gratitude to God.
I encourage you to prayerfully consider how such a group might work for you and come and have a chat with me about how we might assist in finding an appropriate time and way of meeting.
