Freedom to Choose

Balwyn AnglicanComment

How are we to respond to the hostility of the Islamic State (IS)?

This week I received an email entitled “Christ or Caliphate” which I found helpful in thinking about this question. I pass on the reference for those of you who might be interested (CLICK HERE).

The article reminded me that ours is a faith which is costly yet which is characterised by freedom – freedom to choose the way of love won for us by Christ in the cross.

I hope you take the time to have a look at the article and that you find it a blessing in framing your thoughts and prayers in light of the current situation in the middle east, and the varied responses world-wide and in our nation.
