In 2016, Children's Worship will include prayers, songs, games, stories, and craft, which encourages the children and helps to bring them to a better understanding of God and His love for them.
Our first term lessons will look at the issues of service and forgiveness.
The Prodigal Son Luke 15:11-32
Jesus anointed at Bethany John 12:1-8
The tax collector Zacchaeus Luke 19:1-10
We can change when Jesus is in our life.
Jesus forgave us and gave His life for us and we celebrate this at Easter. Our Easter lessons will follow that fateful week, from the triumphant entry into Jerusalem (Luke 19:28-38) through the last supper where Jesus showed how much He loved the disciples by washing their feet (a job for the lowliest of servants) (John 13: 1-17), to the cross, and finally the resurrection (Luke 23:26 - 24:12).
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16
A wonderful gift and great news we need to share.
